High School State Testing: March 16-18 |
|
State Testing for 10th graders and anyone else needing to pass state tests to earn a diploma are coming up! Unlike past years 9th graders will NOT be able to take the test. All 10th graders will have a test ready for them and any 11th and 12th graders who still need to pass reading, writing, and/or math will also have tests ready for them. Testing takes place in the portable with Amy and Nancy as proctors. The tests start at 9am sharp, do not be late! Students do not need to bring anything with them for the tests. The subjects for testing in March are Reading and Writing. All classes will operate as normal during the high school testings. In May during our 3rd-8th grade testing we will stop all classes to administer the tests. Please see Allison, our counselor, if you have questions about diploma requirements. And good luck to our high school students! |

Come see another Great Production in the 09/10 EHRC High school Theatre Season! |
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!
The Exciting new High School Student Produced Musical presented by EHRC! Show dates and times: March 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2010 - 7:00pm March 7 and 13 2010, 2:00pm
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee tells the story of eight young people in the throes of puberty (overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves) who learn that winning isn’t everything and that losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser. A musical comedy by William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin, the original Broadway production of Spelling Bee received two Tony Awards, "Best Book" and "Best Featured Actor." The brilliant score and hilarious book are sure to put a skip in your step, a laugh on your lips, and just might bring out the kid in you.
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is directed by students Isaiah Corey and Charles Simpson, with choreography by student Erin Beeson.
Tickets are currently on sale for $5 in the Parent Volunteer Center and are also available at the box office 1 hour before each show.
