I would like to welcome back Scott Hetherington who was rehired as our PE and Health teacher on a continuing contract starting September 2010. Scott was previously hired on a non continuing contract to match leave in our building. Mr. H will teach the PE and Health classes listed in registration. I'm sure he would say something like: keep active this summer!

We have also posted our office secretary position to replace Gayle Lagerstrom following her retirement in May. The position is Monday-Thursday from 7:30-4pm and applications can be made online through the Edmonds School District's HR page on the district website. Please direct any questions to HR at 425-431-7020. The position closes August 3rd. 

We are almost ready to process registration. Once registration is complete we will then mail home student schedules to families. Families should expect to see schedules sometime next week (first full week in July). Also, just a reminder that your first WSLP Face to Face meeting will be the first 5 school days (Sept. 7, 8, 9, 13, 14). Vesta (the new database) will be able to facilitate a direct request from you to your advisor for a meeting time once we put it back online in mid August. You may also call the office starting August 23rd to schedule your appointment. 

Every summer we shift WSLP advisor assignments around. Here are the major changes: All 6th grade students have been rolled up to secondary advisors (joining their siblings if applicable). All of Scott Hetherington's WSLPs have been moved to other elementary advisors. All of Michelle Coffman's WSLPs have returned to Cindy Montzingo. Once Vesta is back online you will be able to login and view your WSLP advisor assignment.
